Hi - Since you've already had BC, you know the signs to watch for. A lump in the armpit could be an infected lymph node, or any number of things, including a symptom of breast cancer. Don't worry TOO much, best to call the doctor and get it looked at, OK? Just to find out what it is. Good luck - PJH

Hi Followin a mastectomy of my left breast,I finished with chemo in April & rad in June of this year. In July I felt a sort of inflamation in my right armpit which sent me scurrying to the doc who advised an FNA & my routine mammography. Both tests came out clear. So just go ahead with the doc's investigation without delay. Good luck. Cressida Reply
