Sue, do you mean docetaxel? If so, there's just no telling with chemo drugs what specific side effects you'll have. Each of us seems to have her very own! I'd suggest your report these knee symptoms to your oncologist; s/he will want to know any changes in health you experience during chemo. Perhaps something can be done; perhaps not. But you need to report it - no suffering in silence, OK? Take care- PJH
Sue, the official website for Doxil doesn't list joint problems as a side effect, but as PJ says, side effects for any drug can vary from person to person. Also, sometimes unexpected side effects show up once a drug is in use that didn't show up in the trials. Please let your oncologist know about any pains you have and let him or her evaluate whether this is a new problem that needs treating or a side effect from your treatment.
