Q: When I scratch my breast (because of an itch) the skin breaks and it leaves a sore about the size of a quarter, its not deep but I get them all the time ... any ideas as to why I get them?

You may just have sensitive skin.Your breast is a sensitive part of your body anyway, so if you have particularly thin skin, then scratching it too hard might be all you need to break the skin. If this has been going on for a long time (months, years), then it seems like it's natural to you. If it's recent, like within the past month or so, then you'd want to see a doctor, find out what's changed and what's causing it. At any rate, next time you have a physical, why not mention it to your doctor? There might be something you can do to improve matters. Good luck - PJH
