My mom lives in South Carolina and she is being evicted from her home because of her medical bills and the fact that my dad is the sole provider. She will start collecting social security in October, but until then, she will stay with me in PA. I need help trying to find them a place to stay. If anyone knows of a low income program(besides the state-there's a 5 year waiting list) or any other program that can help us, PLEASE let me know.

Cristina, please start with the American Cancer Society. If there're any resources out there, they'd be the ones to point you in the right direction. Good luck - PJH
