When I went through Chemo I was told the standard things such as try drinking ensure (which tasted horrible!) take the nausea medication the rx you, take calcium supplements or drink milk, eat ice cream, etc. if you can,  get plenty of rest, and take a multi-vitamin.  Once chemo is over I suggest going to GNC and buy a cleansing kit, that has vitamins, fiber and other things to cleanse your body of all that nasty chemo stuff they injected in you.  After a 7 day regimen you'll feel a bit better unless of course you take an after chemo pill like Femara, Arimidex, Tamoxifen - which will make the effects of chemo last longer.  But eventually you will gain some energy back, and your hair, but some things just take longer - the lingering joint/muscle aches, or "chemo-brain" may take a little longer to get over.  It all depends on what kind and how long your chemo was.

Hopefully you will be feeling better soon!
