i have a breast implant, can i still feel if there is a lump normally or could it be hidden under the
a few years ago i made this breast implantbecause after brest feeding the doctor said the glands got smaller, now i am wondering if (god forbid) i got a lump could i easily detect it or could it be hidden under the implant and in this case i have to do the mamogram..i am 36 years old..
Depending on where the lump is located, you might be able to feel it. It would also depend on how big the implants are and whether they are under your chest muscle. If you beleive you feel something, then I would suggest having a doctor look at it, so you can be referred out for a mammogram or ct scan, which would be more reliable.
Good luck!
