Janet, the Ki-67 proliferation index is a test they do to help grade your tumor. It helps measure how many of your cancer cells are growing very quickly.

Tumors receive a grade of 1 to 3 (1 being the least serious, 3 the most), and a number of factors go into developing this grade, including Ki-67. If you have your Ki-67 results, 10% and under is good; 20% and over, not so good; and 10%-20%, borderline.

Hope this helps- Good luck. - PJH
