Not worried, Sarah - Just concerned enough to make an appointment to have it checked out. Though you're VERY young for breast cancer - i.e., your chances of having it are slim - any time you feel a lump in your breast, or under your arm, and it doesn't disappear in synch with your period, you need to have it checked. Keep an eye on it till the end of your next (or current) menstrual cycle; if it's the same, or enlarged, best to see a doctor, OK? Good luck - PJH

Sarah,

I would always check monthly from now on it doesn't matter if it is nothing if you have a family past of cancer you should make sure to have a doctor check you with a mammogram once a year. My friend said she was told she was fine and then a couple months later had her nipples bleeding and very sore and she had cancer and it was to late and died from it. I do not want to scare you but its better to be safe than sorry.Good luck to you and go see your doctor ASAP
