Hi - Please read our post on nipple issues for information about what might be causing this. Pain and soreness in both nipples is almost always hormonal; it's incredibly rare that breast cancer would present symptoms in both breasts at once; and in addition, breast cancer is rarely painful. You may have an infection, like a pimple; there are oil glands all around your nipple, and sometimes they become blocked. You might also have a blocked milk duct. Since it seems to be getting more bothersome, I'd suggest seeing a doctor and finding out if it needs to be treated. Best of luck to you - PJH
