Meet Susan Abrams

Abrams has devoted over 30 years to supporting breast cancer patients through clinical social work.

Susan Abrams is a clinical social worker who has been working with breast cancer survivors and their families for over 30 years. She previously worked for ten years at Suburban Hospital and Suburban Breast Center as an oncology social worker in Bethesda, Md. Ms. Abrams maintains a private practice and works with a group of oncologists in their practice.. She continues to facilitate ongoing breast cancer support groups. Throughout her professional career, she has spoken at numerous conferences in the Washington metropolitan area on the various phases of breast cancer including diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. In addition, she served as a member of the Project Hope medical team in Krakow, Poland.
