Breast Cancer & Menopause Hormone Therapy Comment

Judith S.

The big story about breast cancer on the front page of the New York times is compelling, but it does not apply to everyone.  I was 48 when my cancer was diagnosed, and I had not yet reached menopause.  Women who are still getting periods should not assume that they are somehow at less risk for breast cancer simply because HRT will not be part of their post-menopause years.
