Vinorelbine is used to treat various types of cancer. It is a chemotherapy drug that works by slowing or stopping cancer cell growth.

How To Use Vinorelbine IV

Vinorelbine is given by injection only into a vein (intravenously-IV) by a healthcare professional. It is usually given over 6-10 minutes, once a week, or as directed by your doctor. This medication should be mixed in the proper solution and must not be injected into the spine. Before using, check this medication visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, do not use the liquid. If you have questions regarding the use of this medication, consult your pharmacist.

The dosage is based on your medical condition, response to therapy, and body size.

If this medication comes into contact with your skin, wash your skin immediately and completely with soap and water. If vinorelbine gets into your eyes, flush them immediately and completely with water, and contact the doctor.
