New med could treat, prevent spread of breast cancer

A Mayo Clinic study of the medication Panzem suggests that the drug may treat and prevent the spread of breast cancer. In a recent animal study, the medication appeared to target breast cancer cells by encouraging them to self-destruct. It also prevented the spread of breast cancer cells to bone. Read more »
