Olive oil may prevent the formation of breast cancer cells, a new study suggests. Researchers in Spain found that when breast cancer cells were exposed to components found in extra-virgin olive oil, they could not develop. Researchers say it's unlikely that women will benefit from eating more olive oil, but they point out that the discovery could pave the way for natural and safe breast cancer drugs.
