Breast cancer survivors who are on an aspirin regimen may be less likely to die or have a cancer recurrence, a new study has found. The study of 4,164 nurses found that those who took aspirin regularly were 50 percent less likely to die from breast cancer and 50 percent less likely to see the cancer spread. The 30-year study found that taking aspirin two to five days per week had the greatest effect, possibly because it lowers inflammation.
