Australian scientists planning to grow breast tissue

Scientists in Australia plan to start clinical trials on a technique that may allow women who've had a mastectomy to regrow their own breast tissue. The procedure involves putting a breast-shaped chamber into the site, and using a woman's own blood vessels and fat tissue to fill the chamber in six to eight months. Experts say the body tends to fill vacant spaces, and they hope the technique will given women better options for breast reconstruction.
