Senate Passes Cancer Screening Amendment

The U.S. Senate passed an amendment requiring health insurance companies to cover mammograms for women beginning at age 40. The amendment came in response to a recommendation made by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force that suggested women under the age of 50 should not have routine screening.   Read full story >
