Many Women With Breast Cancer Have Sexual Problems: Study

About 75 percent of women who have breast cancer also have some kind of sexual problem, a new survey suggests. Most of the women surveyed in the study were undergoing chemotherapy, including hormone-based therapy such as Tamoxifen. Researchers say this percentage of breast cancer patients with sexual problems is much higher than among the general population and should be addressed, particularly since about half of these women described these problems as "severely bothersome."  Read full story >
