Fewer, Larger Radiotherapy Doses May Aid Cancer Patients

Women with breast cancer may benefit more from fewer, larger doses of radiotherapy. Fewer doses led to fewer skin changes--a side effect that is common among women receiving treatment. The study found that tumors were kept under control using both treatment schedules, and other side effects remained similar.
