A simple gene test that uses a swab of your cheek may help determine which diet--low fat or low carb--works best for you, researchers say. A Stanford University study on the gene test found that women who were matched with their "best" diet lost five times more weight than those who tried a diet less suited to them. Some scientists remain unconvinced by the small study, and say that sticking to any diet is really the key to long-term weight loss.
