Cancer Death Rates Have Dropped Since the 1970s: Study

According to a new study by the American Cancer Society, cancer deaths have decreased 21 percent since 1990 and 11 percent since 1970. Researchers say reduced tobacco use, increased cancer screening, and improvements in treatment are behind these reduced death rates.
