According to a new study, cancer survivors who do yoga sleep better, experience less fatigue, and have a slightly increased quality of life. Researchers say that the cancer survivors in the study who did gentle Hatha yoga and restorative yoga were able to cut back on sleeping pills and slept 22 percent better, a figure that is nearly twice the improvement of cancer survivors who did not do yoga. The investigators also found that fatigue was cut among these patients by close to half.
