Fish Oil Reduces Breast Cancer Risk: Study

Omega-3 fatty acids found in fatty fish may reduce the risk of breast cancer, a new study has found. Seattle researchers followed over 35,000 post-menopausal women and found that those who regularly took a fish oil supplement had a 32 percent reduced risk of developing the most common form of breast cancer. The supplements have already been shown to lower the risk of heart attack and death in people who have heart disease, researchers say.
