Need medical care but cannot afford it. What are my options?

I am on Social Security disability, single, fully alone and supporting myself and very ill with multiple serious health issues. I need multiple lab tests, diagnostic procedures, and surgeries. I am chronically ill and getting worse by the day. I have not been on my prescriptions for months as I cannot afford them. I just qualified for Medi-cal but my share of cost is 1838.00/mo. Medicare will not kick in for 18 months and I cannot qualify for any other programs because my "income is to high." I barely get by on the money I get and live solely off of Social Security. I need to see a doctor and get medical care but cannot afford to pay the share of cost which is currently 3/4 of my income. I am thinking I need to check myself into the hospital to get all the testing and treatment I need in a one month period so I will only have to pay the share of cost for that month. How do i go about making that happen? I am desperate and need care.
