I need feedback!! I need advice on how to manage care and work schedule while telecommuting at home.

My wife Cely is 44 and just returned home from the hospital after 3 months of monitoring and rehab following a major hemmoraghic stroke. I am her only caregiver at home, and need practical adivice on managing her care until I can locate a primary care dr who is qualuified in stroke recovery.  My income precludes me from Medicaid, and she does not qulaify for SSI because she did not work the required 10 yrs needed for SSI disability eligibility, choosing to raise our children rather than work.

In the meantime, I setup an office in my home, and telecommute for work so I can manage her care(PT, medications, hygiene, etc.)  While she is mentally alert and has lost little memory, she has major aphasia and can't clearly communicate her needs. Personal hygiene, wheelchair transfers, and feeding all require my assistance.

I have tried unsuccessfully to develop a schedule in order to accomplish my job requirements, while providing timely care for my wife but every day there is something undone at work, or I've neglected my wife in some way(missed BP check, or didn't get her bathed until late at night)

This is in addition to taking care of my 2 teenage kids, who try to help but are wrapped up in their own lives as teenagers tend to be.  This situation swill probably continue until at least mid may when we are scheduled for our 1st visit with Hope Health Clinic who assist indigent families with no other means of obtaining health care.

Any advice pertinent to my dilemma would be greatly appreciated, as my health has become questionable since we started on this road to recovery. I've lost 20 in 3 wks since she got home, and suffer from insomnia, and chronic back pain, and anxiety.
