is there meds for sleepless nights in the sundowners syndrome?

just broke her hip and had to have surgery about 2 wks ago. since then she has been agitated and cannot sleep at night, therefore her family don't get any rest either. she has been very healthy her entire life, but now we don't know what to do for her. we are taking care of her in her home with in home health. it would seem there would be something that she could take to help her sleep at night. appreciate any comments
