I had Cervical Fusion, C 5-6, 89 days later I fell of a ladder backwards off my front porch and

landed on my shoulders and the back of my neck.  The fusion was not disturbed, but after CAT scan and MRI diagnosed 'enlarged disc' above fusion protruding into nerve column. Eight years later I am permentaly disabled, under supervision of Pain Management Physicians, I have Medtronic "Synergy" Spinal Stimulator implanted 2nd time in 7 years. THe second surgery with replacement probe and battery unit functioning more realiabily but not covering all of the Pain.  Is there a name for my condition or is it just Chronic Pain; with Medtronic Synergy to attempt to manage 24/7 Pain in left shoulder and Neck, medications also taken daily and a 'break through' Pain Medication too for afternoons and evenings every day.
