Father's age linked to poor social abilities in boys

Researchers at Tel Aviv University have found that older fathers are more likely to have boys with lower IQs and poor social skills. Previous studies had linked older parents with an increased incidence of autism and schizophrenia. Now, researchers studying more than 450,000 male teens ages 16 to 17 have found that the prevalence of poor social functioning increased by 50 percent in boys with fathers 45 years old and up.
