I recently had blood work done and was told that my triglycerides are at 405. I do drink, but eat well and exercise some. Should I be concerned? What can I do? Can I still drink alcohol? Please help. Email: dquinlan1@hotmail.com
Thanks for your post. I am the moderator for this site and though not medically trained I will try to help find answers to your questions.
I'm sorry I cannot give you medical advice. You really must discuss your questions with your physician. He or she can give you a professional evaluation and the proper advice.
In the meantime, maybe reading some of our material can help prepare you for your meeting with a doctor.

First check out our content on triglycerides. Then you might like to read from our expert Dr. William Davis, Triglycerides: One of the Most Important Numbers on the Panel.
Hope this helps - come back and let us know what your doctor says.
All the best, sue
