I am amazed at how few professionals know of this test. I have to ask specifically

for it, convince the GP I need it (he doesn't know what it is) and then explain to the nurse who draws the blood which color vial to put it in and how to initial the test with capital LP and little (a). They then do it, and dutifully send the results to my Cardiologist who discovered my high readings (98) several years ago and is treating it with 1000mg of niacin and Omega 3. It is now 33. PLEASE IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND HAVE A FAMILY HISTORY OF HEART DISEASE>>> GET THE TEST AT LEAST ONCE to see if you have the genetic flaw.
