i have got a question. got my tests results back from donating blood for the first time. and that, my cholestrol result was 178. and was wanting to know, if this was high or normal. please send me an email and let me know. thanks
Your level is normal as it should be under 200, however to really know you should provide your breakdown including your HDL, LDL and serum TGL's. For example, your bad cholesterol, LDL may be high and your good, HDL may be low so your total would be under 200 so knowing the breakdown would help to provide a better answer.
