I am curious about low triglyceride levels.  I have consistently (for over 30 years) had very low triglyceride levels (35-45).  I recently (in the last 10 years) have gained 10 lbs, but my triglycerides remain 35-45 (I am now 69 years old).  My cholesterol and other blood tests are normal.  (last blood tests:  cholesterol 167, triglycerides 34, HDL 40, LDL 120).  Is this normal and why am I overweight? (10 lbs)
