    Thank you so much for this article. My new doctor got too aggressive in lowering my cholesterol and reduced my total cholesterol to 105. I thought the numbers were apalling but my doctor thought the numbers were just great. I asked my doctor what too low was and he didn't have answer.

     

    The next week  my life was turned upside down. I suffered from insomnia, depression, hostility and went hormonal (for lack of a better term). I also developed a case of post menopausal bleeding. I started feeling better within 3 days after stopping the statin I was taking.
