    Hi Mick - thanks for your post and welcome to the CholesterolNetwork.com.  I am the moderator for the site and though not medically trained I will try to help you get answers to your questions as best I can.

     

    First thing is you really must check with your doctor regarding the leg control symptom.  This is something I cannot comment on directly and regardless would recommend speaking to your physician right away.

     

    As for the kind of food that can help to lower choleserol, see our Low Cholesterol Diet Section - it has lots for you to read and learn about.  

     

    As well there are other Lifestyle Changes that might help with your high cholesterol.
