The Low-Fat, High-Fructose Blunder

It was yet another mistake of the low-fat era.   The low-fat dietary mistake of the last 40 years spawned more than its share of nutritional disasters. Along with cutting essential fats (like omega-3s and monounsaturates), low-fat dietary advice helped spawn: Hydrogenated ("trans") fats ...

What is it that we are supposed to eat? What is actually "healthy" .. ?

Good Question.   All these food industries competing for the blue ribbon for their product is forcing us to think for ourselves.  It is to our peril that we entrust our health to experts.   They use scientific evidence (the food factory people sponsored the scientist and set up the paramaters for the experiments) and none of it comes together to form anything near a mosaic of good advice.  Quite to the contrary, nearly all of it conflicts with what was stated yesterday.  Were all those scientist liars yesterday, or were they stupid or were they just being used to validate a selected portion of the desired spin?

What did we eat in the beginning?  What do the wild animals eat?

Traditional foods, unprocessed and grown well ............WOW! where do you get them?

Do not condemn raisins and honey.  The natural fructose is essential to the functioning of our liver and eventually to our very life.  Fruit was the mainstay of life long before homosapiens arrived.

It is the manufactured, high tech, unnatural fructose that is killing our society.  Tell them the truth, Doctor.  Sure they will starve to death in hoardes if we all suddenly quit eating factory foods, as there is not enough natural food out there, but it is far harder to get them to change than that.  How about telling the real story for the ones who can and will change?

There is a world of difference between how our metabolism handles natural fructose and that HFCS we are slurping down our throats with most every bite of factory food we eat.

If you want some scientific support for these arguments, go to www.worldclassemprise.com

When you denigrate grapes and honey you are flying in the face of all the ancient text of every religion on the planet!   Science has now become our religion, and its priests are just as guilty of debauchery as any cloisitered monk anywhere.

Eat natural food that looks in the supermarket like it did on the farm.  If it has an ingredients list on it, be very suspicious of it, and consider putting it back on the shelf.  If it says it is the  "new improved" formula, abhor it.  The improvement was to the profit margin in the sale thereof!

Good Health and Long Life!

The more I research free fructose in our diet, the more shocked I am that it's legal.  We're told to limit fat intake, but it's not the fat that is causing high cholesterol, it's fructose.  This is the same with diabetes and obesity.

The stuff is in everything and it's killing us.
