Hi All,

I just had my blood test done and expected everything to be normal as always. I am 5 feet in height and weigh 160 lbs. I got my results with the following:

Cholesterol - 289

Triglycerides - 136

HDL - 45

LDL - 217 (yes...)......HIGH

My doctor recommended Crestor 10 mg for 6 months. What do you think of this? I read some not so good reviews of this drug.

Also what does this mean for me...is it that my arteries have started to be blocked? Am I likely to get a heart attack? I am so confused and sad.....I need to put things in perspective....

Any information and advice will be appreciated

This video animation shows how cholesterol behaves in the blood stream. Cholesterol is a soft, fat-like, waxy substance found in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells.
