There is nothing in the article specifically about taking cholesterol reducing drugs such as statins. The article is a waste. Is the author getting paid by the word?

My husband (56 yrs old), would like to stop taking Crestor because of memory problems and increased pain in his legs.  He has lost weight, which is good, and he is on Topral, Diovan, and Mobic.  He is taking Omega 3 and 6 fish oils regularly.  I have a call into his doctor's office and waiting on a call back.  There are too many side effects of the statins, with muscle aches and liver problems among them.

Please let us know how to stop the pills without a shock to the cardiovascular system.

Thank you,

Why don't you talk specifically for lowering cholesterol drugs. Many people out there are asking questions about them. What about if one accidentally take lowering cholesterol drug without having high cholesterol problems?

What about one person who is taking cholesterol drugs, and want to stop? Can one stop just like that or with lower dosage? What about if one has vomited after eating and taking the drug, should he/she take the drug again or what can do?

There are many questions that will be usefully answered with a more specific and accurate article.
