Just diagnosed with very high triglycerides and very scared!

I was just dianosed with having high cholesterol. It was the actual triglyceride level that was INCREDIBLY high at 1211, yes you read that right. Cholesterol and Diet

I have been struggling with high cholesterol for a while now. I am trying to find a diet that will teach me what to eat and lose weight at the same time. Does my mother really need drugs for high cholesterol?

My mother's doctor has been trying to get my mom on medication for her cholesterol for years. I am perplexed, because her numbers are as follows: Total Chol. 267LDL 133HDL 104Triglycerides 151 With a ratio of 2.6, aren't those numbers actually good? Becky

LCD High Cholesterol

Can rapid weight loss cause high LCD cholesterol levels? I have lost 33 lbs over the past 10 months due to stress and not eating.
