Q: What do the following stand for and mean? TGL, AHDL, TSH

Is TGL or AHDL or TSH the same as LDL?

Hi CJ,

 

Each acronym has a variety of possible meanings, I'll give you the medical one:

 

TGL - triglycerides or triglyceride lipase

AHDL - I'm not familiar with this acronym. (HDL - High Density Lipoprotein)

TSH - thyroid stimulating hormone

 

Each is different from LDL (low density lipoprotein).
