Hi David,

Shrimp does contain dietary cholesterol. However, dietary cholesterol does not have a significant impact on blood cholesterol levels. If you are diagnosed with high cholesterol, you may want to limit shrimp intake as a treatment measure, but otherwise consuming shrimp in moderation should not greatly impact your risk level of developing high cholesterol.
