Q: My husband takes many drugs. Is Niaspan safe for him to take?

Plavix ,88mg asprin,Coreg,Cozar,aldactone,Lipitor and Zetia

Hi Roxanne,

 

The more medications you take the greater your risk for experiencing drug interactions. I recommend discussing the pros/cons fully with his physician so you are aware of any potential drug interactions/side effects to watch for prior to adding another medication.
