I substituted Pravastatin 40 mg for 20mg Simvastatin because of liver concerns and found it did not work for me. Had serious leg pains, cramps, muscle weakness and could not sleep with Pravastatin. Had to revert to Simavastatin after two weeks and will retest lipid panel in 90 days. HDL is 45, LDL 68, Trig 128, VLDL 26.
