Q: I forgot to take my medication last night, should I take it the next morning?

Vanessa,

 

Most of the statin medication request that it be taken in the evenings for better absorption.  However, some drugs within this category can be taken at any time.

 

Though important, this medication is not critical (like heart and blood pressure medication).  I suggest you not take a dose this morning, and just resume your usual schedule this evening.  Missing one dose of medication will have little effect your your cholesterol levels.
