I have diabetes just found out in the last 2 months. My cholesterol is about 40 points to high with the bad. But my good is fine . My Doctor wants to put me on Pravastatin. I would like to know what Herble drugs insted of Pravastatin.

This not a substitute for your doctor. The best thing to do is to ask your doctor if he/she knows any ways to naturally lower your bad cholesterol. However, with that said, if you would like to go to your doctor more informed on the topic. Try looking up these supplements/drugs. Niacin - it is just vitamine b3 and is proven to help lower bad cholesterol levels. Ground flaxseed - it helps improve your fiber levels with out increasing your bad cholesterol levels.
