im 33yr old woman and my body fat is 35% which i think is really bad, is it?
does this mean that i have high cholestrol? if so how should i go about changing it.

Hi Karen,
A body fat of 35% is high and puts you at greater risk for health risks, such as heart disease.
Here is a breakdown of body fat percents for females:
Essential fat 10-12%
Athletic 14-20%
Fitness 21-24%
Acceptable 25-31%
Obese >32% (32% or greater associated with increased health risks)
Now, just because your body fat percent is high, that does not mean you have high cholesterol. You should speak with your MD about blood work to check your cholesterol levels to know for sure.
