Q: i got my lab result BBS is 4.07 uric acid 8.7 cholesterol 229 triglycerides 186 HDL 37 LDL 1.54 what is CHD risk factor 16.1% means? AM I in danger zone?

Hi Lulu,

 

Here are the recommendations of the American Heart Association:


Total cholesterol less than 200
HDL cholesterol at least > 40, ideally > 60
LDL cholesterol at least less than 130, ideally less than 100
Triglycerides less than 150
