Q: is gemfibrozil a satin and can it be taken with grapefruit juice?

I take gemfibrozil and niacin for cholesterol and triglycerides and I like grapefruit juice and I would like to know if I can drink grapefruit juice.

Gemfibrozel is not a statin. Here is a post you may want to review. Even though statin is in the title the post discusses more than statin medication.
