Q: lean pork meat is high in cholesterol? how many calories in a regular piece?

I've been told that lean pork meat has less fat and calories than chicken meat, is that true? or just a myth?....

Hi Susana,

The leanest cut of chicken is a skinless chicken breat and the leanest cut of pork the tenderloin.

3 ounce chicken breast = ~150 calories and 3.9 grams of fat

3 ounce pork tenderloin = ~120 calories and 3 grams of fat

All the best,
