BUsh,   I would not take over the counter Ogega 3 fish oil without consulting your doctor who is most familiar with your allergy and medical history.  He may ask you further questions about this allergy as well as certain foods.  He might also reccommend vegetarian forms of Omega 3 fatty acid supplements.  Though most over-the-counter vitamin supplements are considered safe, you have a known allergy, and therefore should never supplement without your doctor's knowledge.   Thank you.   Martin Cane, M.D.
