i need to know the name of the new catheter used in angioplasty surgery which you feature.

I live in the uk and my mother was admitted to hospital recently for an angioplasty.  She was shocked to be told the doctors were unable to get the equipment into both her arteries as they are completely blocked and she has basically been told there is no hope and must live with only one artery functioning properly and take 24 pills a day.  I was wondering if the new type of catheter you feature on your website which enables an angioplasty to be carried out even on people who have arteries which are completely blocked is available in the uk.  I need to know the name of it so my mother can ask her doctor to locate a private hospital which can carry this procedure out on my mother.  This may be her only hope.  She has already had a bypass and has been told her heart is too diseased for another one.  I would appreciate any information you could provide , thank you

Hello Elaine,

Im sorry but I had some trouble finding a name for that catheter as well. However I did find an article that specifies a hospital and docs willing to do the procedure. Here it is.

I hope that was helpful

This video animation shows how cholesterol behaves in the blood stream. Cholesterol is a soft, fat-like, waxy substance found in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells.
